Media Representative

All media representatives will need to submit one of the following to obtain free media registration for the Symposium:

● Proof of employment by a media outlet (eg, a copy of the publication’s masthead with the reporter’s name listed)
● A letter of assignment from the editor, producer, or news director of the outlet if the reporter is freelance
● Two articles or news reports from recognized media outlets published in the last 12 months, crediting the reporter who is seeking media accreditation and demonstrating the reporter’s capacity to cover the types of research issues addressed at the Symposium

Please note: Validation documentation must be supplied within 7 days, or the registration will be cancelled.

Media representatives will need to re-apply for registration if they are unable to submit documentation within that time frame.

Event Details

The Global Hygiene Symposium hopes to catalyse cross-disciplinary collaboration to pave the way for transformative solutions in global health and expedite progress on hygiene as a cornerstone of wellbeing.

The Global Hygiene Symposium brings together researchers, policymakers and practitioners to explore the potential benefits of closer collaboration and integrated approaches between the hygiene fields and within wider development goals.

The Global Hygiene Symposium will run from 6th to 8th December 2023 at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore.

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Global Hygiene Symposium generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Global Hygiene Symposium, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
